In a sale and lease back scenario, the 75 acre property was purchased from Lucent Technologies, Inc. The plan for the project is to demolish the over 400,000 square foot office building and adjacent warehouse upon the expiration of Lucent's lease. The site will then be prepared for a 300,000 square foot Target/Whole Foods anchored shopping center. Approximately 30 acres of residential land is being sold separately. The Property is located in the West County area of the St. Louis suburbs, which is considered one of the most desirable suburban locations in the region. Land and overall property values in the West County area are among the highest in metropolitan St. Louis.
